Presenting the Engineering & Logistics Wing (ELW) patch from RAF Lossiemouth — a design that pays tribute to the backbone of every mission, sortie, and success on station. While crews take to the skies, it’s the engineers and logisticians who make it possible, and this patch captures their role with pride, precision, and unmistakable Lossie identity.

Shaped in a distinctive multi-point crest, the patch features a Lossie tartan background. At the centre sits the emblem of Engineering & Logistics Wing, showcasing the silhouettes of the aircraft they tirelessly support: the Typhoon, the P-8A Poseidon, and the larger operational fleet that depends on their expertise day in, day out.

Above the aircraft, the Lossie owl spreading its wings! A symbol of oversight, strength, and vigilance. It represents the Wing’s responsibility not just to maintain capability, but to uphold the standards that keep the RAF operating safely, reliably, and effectively.
