An update for a new era of C Flight, this patch celebrates our heritage as the original founders of 49 Squadron.

The design takes inspiration from the 1936 49 Sqn badge, featuring the greyhound and the Latin motto “Cave Canem” - “Beware of the Dog.” A nod to both speed and spirit, the greyhound now bears its teeth for modern times.
